38. Mary Louise4 Berry (Solomon3, Matthias2, Thomas1) was born on 9 June 1852 in Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.9,19 She married Daniel Vaughan Crandall Jr, son of Reverend Daniel Vaughan Crandall and Rebecca Uhlmar, on 14 December 1876.32

She married Wesley Crossman on 11 December 1901 in Westmorland County, NewWesley Crossman and Mary Louise Berry Brunswick (photo of Wesley and Mary shown at the right, thanks to Linda Burakiewicz for the scan).30,33 She died on 20 February 1940 in Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, at age 87.32,34,33 She was buried on 22 February 1940 in Old Elgin Baptist Cemetery, Elgin, New Brunswick.32,33

Daniel Vaughan Crandall Jr was born on 7 August 1834 in Pollett River, West County, New Brunswick.32 He died on 7 September 1899 in Ansonia, Connecticut, at age 65.32 He was buried in Old Elgin Baptist Cemetery, New Brunswick.32

Children of Mary Louise4 Berry and Daniel Vaughan Crandall Jr were as follows:

  • 64 i. Alfred D.5 Crandall was born on 4 February 1880.32,35 He married Alma Bradshaw on 2 September 1899.35 He died on 16 August 1941 at age 61.35

  • 65 ii. Lillis Crandall died in infancy.32

  • 66 iii. Craton Crandall.

  • 67 iv. Myrtle Crandall.

  • 68 v. Minnie Myrtle Crandall was born on 9 July 1883.35 She married Edward Walden on 1 July 1902.35 In the 4 generation photo to the right (taken in 1924), Minnie is seen sitting on the right, with her mother, Mary, on the left. Minnie's daughter is standing at the back, while Minnie's grand-daughter is on her lap ... many thanks to Sheila Beaudry for the photo scan. Minnie died on 5 December 1927 at age 44.35

  • 69 vi. Walter M. Crandall was born on 25 July 1885.35 He married Della Crose.35 He died on 27 May 1956 at age 70.35

  • + 71 viii. Welcome V. Crandall, born 21 May 1891; married Louise Middleton.

Family of Mary Louise BerryWesley Crossman died on 31 May 1923 in Albert County, New Brunswick.34

There were no children of Mary Louise4 Berry and Wesley Crossman.

40. Gilbert Waymond4 Berry (Solomon3, Matthias2, Thomas1) was born on 29Gilbert Berry with his son Ernest August 1855 in Turtle Creek, Albert County, New Brunswick.19 He married Margret Ross, daughter of Malcolm Ross and Rebecca Kelly, on 6 August 1881 the Parish of Coverdale, New Brunswick.36 He died on 10 May 1933 in Calgary, Alberta, at age 77.37,19 In the photo at the right, Gilbert is sitting, with this eldest son, Ernest, standing beside him.

Gilbert was a car repairer for the CPR, and then a farmer in later life. Between 1911 and 1933 Gilbert Waymond Berry lived in Calgary, Alberta.37

Margret Ross was born on 12 May 1851 in Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.38,25,39,19 She died on 29 July 1918 in Calgary, Alberta, at age 67.39,19 She was also known as Margaret Ross, or Maggie Ross.39,24 She was of Scottish ancestry.38,25

  • 74 iii. Adda May Berry was born on 2 November 1886.19,24 She died on 8 June 1889 in Turtle Creek, New Brunswick, at age 2.19,24 She was buried in Turtle Creek Cemetery, Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.24

  • 75 iv. Martilla J. Berry was born on 8 November 1888.19,24 She died on 29 April 1889 in Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.24,19

42. Caleb Fraser4 Berry (Solomon3, Matthias2, Thomas1) was born on 7 November 1858 in Turtle Creek, Albert County, New Brunswick.9,18 He married Martha Margaret O'Brien, daughter of Malcolm O'Brien and Leah Kaye.3,18 He died on 15 March 1922 in Sunny Brae, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, at age 63.19,40,34 He was buried on 18 March 1922 in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, New Brunswick.40

He was a farmer in 1881 in Coverdale, Albert County, New Brunswick.7

Martha Margaret O'Brien was born circa 1867.18

John Walter4 Berry (Solomon3, Matthias2, Thomas1) was born on 7 January 1861 in Turtle Creek, Albert County, New Brunswick.9,19,41 He married Ida May Wilson in 1888 in Hillsborough, Albert County, New Brunswick.41 He died on 2 January 1936 in Turtle Creek, Albert County, New Brunswick, at age 74.19,41 He was buried in Turtle Creek Cemetery, Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.24

He was also known as Walter Berry.

Ida May Wilson was born in 1871 in Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.42,24,43,41 She died on 4 September 1964 in Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.24,41 She was buried in Turtle Creek Cemetery, Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.24

  • 81 v. Leona B. Berry was born in January 1904 in Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.24,43 She died of cerebral-spinal meningitis on 23 April 1927 in Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, at age 23.24,34,43 She was buried on 26 April 1927 in Turtle Creek Cemetery, Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.24

    She was a biscuit factory worker for J.A. Marvin Ltd in 1927 in Moncton, New Brunswick.43

45. James Merrit4 Berry (Solomon3, Matthias2, Thomas1) was born on 21 August 1862 in Turtle Creek, Albert County, New Brunswick.19,24,44 He married Lillian A. Wilson circa 1901 in New Brunswick.24,44,17 He died of arterio sclerosis on 12 February 1942 in Gunningsville, Albert County, New Brunswick, at age 79.24,34,44 He was buried on 15 February 1942 in Turtle Creek Cemetery, Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.24,44

He was also known as James Merrith Berry.34,44 He was a blacksmith between 1903 and 1930.44

Lillian A. Wilson was born in 1880.24 She died in 1968 in Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.24 She was buried in Turtle Creek Cemetery, Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.24

46. Samuel James4 Berry (Solomon3, Matthias2, Thomas1) was born on 31 August 1864 in Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.25,19 He married Luily ???25

He was a Blacksmith, and was also known as James Berry.25 In 1891 Samuel James Berry lived in Turtle Creek, Albert County, New Brunswick, with his brother Walter and family.42

Luily ??? was born on 25 November 1879.

  • 83 i. Verna Leota5 Berry was born on 8 August 1900.25 She married Walter S. Crossman on 10 November 1920 in Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick.45,30 She died in April 1994 in Moncton, New Brunswick, at age 93.45

47. Harden Bliss4 Berry (Solomon3, Matthias2, Thomas1) was born circa 1867 in Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.9 He married Jennie E. Steeves on 28 September 1887 in Hillsborough, Albert County, New Brunswick.17 He died on 16 April 1937 in Westmorland County, New Brunswick.18,19,34 He was buried in Gray's Island, Albert County, New Brunswick.18

He was also known as Bliss Berry.

Jennie E. Steeves was born circa 1868 in New Brunswick.42 She was also known as Jenney Steeves.42

Florence N Lutes was born in 1872.26 She died on 30 November 1942 in Albert County, New Brunswick.26,34

48. Viola Corona4 Berry (Solomon3, Matthias2, Thomas1) was born on 22 February 1868 in Turtle Creek, Albert County, New Brunswick.25 She married Willard Myles Fillmore, son of Rufus H. Fillmore and Elizabeth Ann Steeves.25 She died of pneumonia on 16 January 1934 in Turtle Creek, Albert County, New Brunswick, at age 65.46 She was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick.46

Willard Myles Fillmore was born on 20 August 1862 in Lower Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.46 He died on 14 January 1898 in Lower Turtle Creek, New Brunswick, at age 35.25,46 He was buried in Turtle Creek Cemetery, Turtle Creek, New Brunswick.46 He was a farmer.46

  • 94 iii. Enid Sadie Fillmore was born on 7 June 1892 in Turtle Creek, Albert County, New Brunswick.25,46 She married Leslie Francis Leighton, son of Alvin Leighton and Lillian Graves, on 20 October 1932 in Somerville, Massachusetts.46 She died on 13 December 1963 in Rockland, Maine, at age 71.46 She was buried in Burr Cemetery, Freeport, Maine.46

    She was also known as Sadie Fillmore.25

  • + 95 iv. Mona Bernice Fillmore, born 15 June 1895 in New Brunswick; married Harry Lewis Lutes.

  • + 96 v. Basil Willard Fillmore, born 29 May 1897 in Turtle Creek, Albert County, New Brunswick; married Ruth Eleanor Hamilton.
