Cathcart Cemetery

As its name implies, Cathcart Cemetery is located in the Cathcart district of Glasgow, in the southern reaches of the city. Samuel and Susan Seright established a family plot in the new section of that cemetery, with the first burial occurring in the late 1800's. 

Two lairs were purchased along the eastern border of section I. Nine individuals were laid to rest at the site, although only six names are engraved on the stone. This was a common practice for family plots once the engraving space on the headstone was full.
