She was also known as Meg McClelland. In March 1962 Margaret Ann McClelland lived at Ormand Beach, Florida.21

John3 McClelland (John2, John1) was born on 26 October 1881 at Moyadam, Antrim, Ireland.23 He married Isabella Cochrane Sloane, daughter of Robert Sloane, on 24 October 1904 at Agnes Street Presbyterian Church, Belfast, Parish of Shankill, Ireland.24,25 He married Elizabeth Mary Trewin (wedding photo to the right,
courtesy of Philip McClelland), daughter of William Trewin and Eliza Ann Hocking, on 19 June 1912 at
Central Methodist Parsonage, Calgary, Alberta.26,27 He died on 27 March 1962 at Calgary, Alberta, at age 80.21,28 He was cremated following a service on 30 March 1962 at Calgary, Alberta.28,29
 He was a building contractor and plasterer in Calgary after arriving from Ireland in 1908. John had come to Canada to participate in that year's harvest in August or September. The reasoning behind the move from Ireland without Isabella has not been determined. His three children born to Isabella remained in Belfast until
1912, when his sister, Agnes McClelland brought them to Calgary to join him.
Isabella Cochrane Sloane, shown at right circa 1908, was born in 1883.19 She died of tuberculosis (although family history also suggests of a broken heart) on 23 March 1909 at Belfast, Ireland.3 She was also known as Bella Sloan.
John3 McClelland and Isabella Cochrane Sloane had
two sons and a daughter.
John's second wife,
Elizabeth Mary Trewin, was born on 9 February 1878 at Ponsongath, Cornwall, England.19,43 She died on 17 September 1943 at Calgary, Alberta, at age 65.44

8. Emily Gamble3 McClelland (John2, John1) was born on 12 February 1898 at Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.47 She married Jim Prenter at Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.19
She was the youngest child of John McClelland and Annie Cuthbert. When Emily married Jim Prenter, a Catholic, she was ostracized by the rest of her Protestant family, except for her brother, John.3
