Jean White was born circa 1780 in Of Barony, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ She died before 1870.²

• 3 ii. Margaret McKinlay was born on 22 September 1804 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹

   

• + 4 iii. Alexander McKinlay, born 8 January 1807 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland; married Margaret Yuill.

   

• 5 iv. Jean McKinlay was born on 8 August 1809 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹

   

• 6 v. Janet McKinlay was christened on 24 December 1812 in Barony Parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland.³
